Can one decision end up defining us?
1) The Redeemer is faithful in the moment of testing
2) …and so he enables the outsider to break with their sinful past
3) …through trusting the Lord to bless his faithful children.
Are there patterns of behaviour from your past which you feel continue to define you?
What difference does it make knowing that through Christ “you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers” (1 Peter 1:18)?
“No good thing does God withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11).
What might it look like to use God’s promises in battling sin in your situation?
